Setup Philosophy

Tire Compliance

When the set up forces the tires into the track and the suspension does not allow for any movement the tires cannot and will not last. You need all 4 working together within the confines of its maximum carcass temps and load range.

Many today lock their cars down, run the bottom line, slow entry speeds and late exit. For the first few laps on old or new tires they are quick. Come race time and the dynamic changes. Cars can only pass with contact, lap times go the other way, in distance races we see competition cautions so cars don't go laps down. It's sad when you really look at it; apply engineering and physics to the equation. It is not poor tire design, not track surface, weather or sunlight or evening.

Forcing a tire to be a shock and spring is mechanically incorrect and yes people win with it but it still doesn't make it right and in the end physics dictates what happens to your tire. Any car should be able to run 200 laps and only drop a few tenths and be able to pass cleanly top or bottom.

Again in several videos in my newsfeed I see cars on ice and the only way guys can set up to pass is through touching. Yes cars touch in door to door battles but even the untrained eye can see when a guy moves or his intention is to knock him out of the way to pass. Fix your toy and pass where the pack usually isn't "two to three" grooves up where many can not drive into at least 3 lengths deep. Your tires will be happier and the results better.
